National Thanksgiving Holy Mass

President Benigno S. Aquino III, together with high-ranking officials of the Vatican and Philippine Catholic churches, will grace the National Thanksgiving Mass for 28th Anniversary Celebration of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the second pre-EDSA Revolution National Newspaper, on Sunday, December 8, 2013. The live streaming of the event which will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center Complex in Pasay City will start at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon.

An estimate of one million Filipino pilgrims are expected to pay tribute and join in the celebration of the launching of the second national newspaper before the first EDSA People Power Revolution. The program at the templete and the arrival of carrozas will start at 2:30 in the afternoon, while San Pedro’s image will arrive at PICC Complex at 4:30 pm. There will be song numbers by various local artists of Manila and Cebu and a Eucharistic Celebration before President Aquino gives his message, to be followed by a fireworks display. The mass will be officiated by His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal G. Tagle, D.D., Archbishop of Manila, together with Bishops, priests as concelebrants.
