On May 1, 2003, NBC, in partnership with Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), its affiliate and Bombo Radyo Philippines (BRP), its block-timer, took over the management of 92.3 FM. Therefore as part of ABC's expansion, the station will become DWFM 92.3 Most Requested Song , the first news/talk station on FM band.
Last June 15, 2003, it had its debut at 12:30am & its first day of broadcasting began at 4am. For now, it will temporarily share facilities with sister station Kool 106. In the future, MRS will also broadcast nationwide through its provincial relay stations on AM and FM.
